Pieces of Grey

Pieces of Grey is a book of poetry written by a bipolar sex-work survivor. Of course, upon reading the 45 poems within this book, you will understand that the author is so much more than those “labels”. There are poems about love (often painful and unrequited), what it feels like to be bipolar, her experiences as a sex worker, her love/hate relationship with New Mexico, drug fueled schizophrenic episodes, and lots of existential angst. Her poetry is as uncensored and raw as she is, and her writing is both manic and depressing.
