I think your poetry & wisdom are wonderful! Your poems express such great awareness, self-honesty, integrity, insight, and strength. It seems to me that you eventually came to many similar insights and realizations — about the realities, mysteries, and wonders of life, love, humanity, inherent stupidity, and mass-insanity.

Your poetry book is so lovely and outstanding. What I like about the poems is they present a very unique point of view. It’s definitely like peeking into someone else’s life… I love it. I also like it because it shows an evolutionary point of view about love and affection, not just black and white good or bad. A slow —long birth.

To me, Pieces of Grey is like viewing the dark corners of our world by the light of a Molotov cocktail. If you have ever been a sex worker or struggled with your neurodivergent brain you are likely to find shards of yourself in these poems. The rest of you are likely to catch a glimpse of something that terrifies you, and that feeling is just as necessary. This is not a feel-good book; it hurts, and that is one of the most important things about it. In a country where both mental illness and any kind of sex work are consistently criminalized, many of the storylines contain hardship and pain. In a country where 70% of the total arrests for sex work related crimes are women and only 10% are buyers, many of those storylines belong to women like our author. Yet, somehow, in those same dark corners, you will also find love, art, and hope. If that isn’t a riveting allegory for the world we live in, I don’t know what is.
